- Service Scope & Ordering Procedure
Effluvialabs provides professional on-site diagnostic inspections for sewer odor and drainage system emission inquiries across authorized European operational locations.
The engagement of services follows a defined four-step protocol:
Initial Inquiry & Assessment:
The Client submits details regarding the property location, pipe system access, and the nature of the observed emission issue.
Customized Quotation:
We evaluate the provided site parameters and issue a formal written quotation outlining the total projected service fee and scope of inspection.
Booking Deposit Payment:
To confirm an on-site diagnostic appointment, the Client must pay an initial consultation deposit via our online payment facilities.
On-Site Execution & Completion:
Our operational field team conducts the scheduled inspection on-site. The remaining balance of the agreed quotation is invoiced upon completion of the diagnostic assessment.
Payment Clarification: All monetary amounts processed directly via this website constitute an Initial Consultation Deposit required to reserve and schedule an inspection appointment, not the total cost of the complete diagnostic service. The final balance is governed by the individual customized quotation issued to the Client.
- Pricing, Invoicing, and Payment Terms
Currency & Charges: All prices displayed on the website or quoted in individual proposals are rendered in Euros (€) and include statutory European Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.
Deposit Requirement: Appointment schedules are reserved only upon successful authorization of the initial consultation deposit.
Settlement of Balance: Invoices for remaining service balances are due upon presentation or according to the payment term specified in the custom quotation. Late payments are subject to statutory interest rates in accordance with Section 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
- Client Obligations & Site Access
Accurate Information: The Client agrees to provide true, accurate, and complete information regarding property location, access conditions, and known drainage system characteristics.
Property Entry & Authorization: The Client warrants that they are the legal owner of the property or possess full authorized clearance from the property owner to permit our personnel access for inspection purposes at the scheduled appointment time.
Site Preparation: The Client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to relevant drainage access points, inspection hatches, and pipe connections during the agreed service window.
- Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Right of Withdrawal
5.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Directives)
If you are contracting as a consumer within the European Economic Area (EEA), you possess a statutory right to withdraw from this distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to statutory exceptions:
Exercise of Right: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us via clear written notice sent to sewer@effluvialabs.com before the withdrawal period expires.
Execution Prior to Expiry: If you request the performance of diagnostic services to begin during the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you waive your right of withdrawal once the on-site inspection service has been fully performed.
5.2 Rescheduling & Appointment Modification
Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge by providing written notice via email at least 48 hours prior to the confirmed service window.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice prior to scheduled on-site execution may result in the forfeiture of the initial booking deposit to cover administrative and scheduling costs.
- Service Delivery & Limitations
Inspection Findings: Our diagnostic services provide field observations and analytical findings based on conditions accessible during the inspection.
Scope Exclusions: On-site inspection services do not include physical structural alterations, excavation, or pipe repair works unless separately agreed upon under an additional written contract.
Uncontrollable Factors: Performance timelines and diagnostic conditions affected by severe weather, inaccessible structural barriers, or unnotified physical obstructions may require rescheduling.
- Limitation of Liability
Statutory Intent & Gross Negligence: Effluvialabs is liable without limitation for damage resulting from injury to life, body, or health, and for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence by us or our legal representatives.
Cardinally Contractual Obligations: In cases of slight negligence, Effluvialabs is liable only for breach of an essential contractual duty (cardinal obligation). In such cases, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable contract damages at the time of contract execution.
Exclusion: Liability for indirect losses, consequential property damages, or unexpected third-party interference is excluded to the extent permitted by European law.
