Description
This service investigates unpleasant odors that may enter indoor spaces through poorly fitted drain covers, deteriorated sealing components, or gaps around accessible drainage openings. The inspection covers relevant floor drains, utility-area outlets, and other accessible drain openings where the odor appears to be concentrated. We examine the fit and condition of the covers, visible seals, surrounding edges, and accessible internal components to identify loose fittings, damaged parts, or possible gaps that may allow odors to escape. We also consider whether the smell may originate deeper within the drainage system rather than from the cover itself. After the inspection, we recommend appropriate adjustments, compatible replacement components, or further investigation if the source remains uncertain. Replacement materials, alterations to the drain assembly, and repairs to concealed pipework are quoted separately.
