Description
This service helps investigate persistent drainage odors that may be associated with underground drain lines, external inspection chambers, accessible drainage access points, or pipework near the property’s foundation. The assessment begins with the reported odor locations and any visible signs of drainage problems, such as damp patches, unusual residue, slow-flowing fixtures, or odors near external access covers. Where safe and accessible, we inspect relevant external drainage points and look for signs that may indicate a blockage, damaged connection, leakage, or another defect in the underground drainage system. We then explain the likely causes and recommend suitable next steps, which may include a more detailed camera inspection or specialist drainage testing. Excavation, confined-space entry, underground pipe replacement, and extensive blockage removal are excluded from the initial inspection unless separately agreed and quoted.
